Learning to live in ones body is a lifelong evolving relationship; to show up in a dedicated space is where we can begin to motivate positive change.

My yoga classes reflect 25+ years of study in anatomy and physiology as a holistic health practitioner.

Each class is a well-rounded experience integrating the following elements:

Vinyasa

Mindful movement (asana) linked with breath (prana).

Alignment

Anatomy of bone and tissue for safe practicing and developing a quiet mind.

Chinese Five Element Theory

As related to mind, nature, and spirit.

Bhakti
Joyful mood aligned with intention.

Somatic Awareness
Following sensations, embodiment principles.

Nada Yoga
Science of sound vibration through chanting, harmonium, voice, dharma teachings, Sanskrit, silence, and musical soundtracks.

Deep Relaxation
Resetting the nervous system as informed by polyvagal theory.

“You have inherited a house, from your own past actions, called a body and mind. Your parents named the house, and you began to fill it up with stuff. You must decide on the perfect way to revolutionize it and construct a perfect new one- to perform the ultimate creative act, producing an angelic body, a butterfly, the House of the Lord. “
